Known for its brown fuzzy rhizomes. Curiously, 'Black Rabbits Foot' is a brighter shade of green than "White Rabbits Foot' and still has the familiar fuzzy white "feet". Both are excellent terrarium or houseplant specimens that grow well under low light, high humidity conditions. To me, the foliage resembles carrot tops.
FERN: A fern is any one of a group of about 12,000 species of plants. Unlike mosses they have xylem and phloem (making them vascular plants). They have stems, leaves, and roots like other vascular plants. Ferns do not have either seeds or flowers (they reproduce via spores).
Also called; Squirrel's Foot Fern, Hare's Foot Fern
Proper name: Davallia trichomanoides
Good houseplant or terrarium plant
As the Rabbit Foot fern grows, so does the hairy feet, totally engulfing the pot in a few years
